HOTEL VANEAU SAINT GERMAIN, Paris – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had a lovely room with a balcony and spotlessly clean, though it was directly next to the elevator and opposite the service room, making it too hot at times. The service overall was brilliant and very helpful, except for one staff member who seemed a bit rushed and abrupt. The location was good with many restaurants and grocery stores around, but it might not be the best choice in August when most shops are closed. The dining options were decent, but some felt it was not worth the price. Despite some minor drawbacks, my stay was pleasant overall.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, giving off more of a 5-star vibe than a 3-star, they were quite outdated and in need of serious refurbishment. Additionally, the small size of the room and the tiny bathroom shower, coupled with street noise throughout the night, were definite drawbacks. On the bright side, the rooms were spacious, equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning, while still maintaining classic details like stained glass windows.

The staff was helpful and lovely, but not entirely accommodating to allergies. The hotel offers excellent access to nearby amenities like cafes and supermarkets.
